Michelle Marsidi and Joachim Dietiker have been dancing, teaching and performing Argentine tango both nationally and internationally since the year 2000. In 2008 they worked with Director Joachim Schlömer to choreograph, teach and dance in the theater dance production "Tango la Queen" in the Freiburg city theater. Both have studied Argentine tango intensively since 1998, including going to Buenos Aires regularly to train and dance. Since 2007 they have been teaching together at the Tango Schule Basel, offering classes at all levels from beginners to professional tango dancers and teachers.

Their teaching pedagogy and understanding of movement in tango has been greatly influenced and enriched by their experience in contemporary dance and bodywork, including Rolfing Movement®, Gyrotonic®, Contact Improvisation, Feldenkrais®, and Balancing alignment®. Through their intensive research they have developed a creative and rich dance that they enjoy teaching with enthusiasm and dedication.
Both Michelle and Joachim speak multiple languages and have taught classes in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.

Michelle and Joachim are also certified body and movement therapists and have a practice for Rolfing® Structural Integration in Basel www.rolfing-md.ch
