Focus Seminar 4: Enrosques and Planeos for Men and Women

This seminar focuses on the technique of enrosques and planeos, and how to use them to express your individual interpretation of the music. We’ll explore ideas and exercises to create a stable axis that allows free and independent movement, as well as how to create a stable and functional embrace for these wonderful elements.

Focus Points

  • Technique, exercises and drills
  • Sequences with giros and contragiros to integrate enrosques and planeos
  • Specific women’s technique for planeos
  • Creating a functional embrace

If you are interested to work further on special elements with the free leg, we welcome you to join us in the following Focus Seminar 5 on Enganches and Cosidas.

During these days you can enjoy the milongas of the OsterTango Festival in Basel.

Extra Private Classes: For Focus Seminar participants, Joachim is available for a limited number of private classes on March 29 and April 3. Please write him separately via email ( with the day and possible times you are available.
